Dear Napa Valley Residents,
Many of us, probably most of us, have been agonizing over the situation in Ukraine, its people, and its future. Many have already joined in sending funds and have wondered what else we can do for this war-torn and devastated country.
We invite you to join us in a concerted prayer effort on behalf of these heroic people. We are told that, if we ask, we will receive. We are planning to spend a few minutes, morning and evening, at 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, asking on behalf of all Ukraine for an end to this war; for the countries coming to their aid in whatever way they can; for the displaced refugees who have had to leave family, friends, homes and pets behind and face a totally unknown future.
Also, we pray for the helpers of all kinds, for strength, wisdom, resources, and for the people of Russia who do not want any war and whose protestors are being imprisoned for speaking out.
We want to speak in love for our brothers and sisters across all barriers, languages, races and religions. Please join us in spirit each day until solutions are found and peace can be restored.
We are also planning an in-person gathering to be held in the next few weeks (time and venue to be announced).
Thank you for your participation, and may you be blessed.
